Government Funding for 3-4 Year Olds
All children at Little Friends Pre-School Ltd become eligible for Government funding in the term after their 3rd birthday. The eligibility date depends on the child's birth month, as follows:
Born between 1st April - 31st August Eligible from 1st September
Born between 1st September - 31st December Eligible from 1st January
Born between 1st January - 31st March Eligible from 1st April
Funded Early Education Entitlement (FEEE)
From April 2024 FEEE2W funding will be available for eligible working parents with 2 year olds. It currently funds up to 15 hours per week over 38 weeks or up to 570 hours if stretched over the year.

Funding for 2 Year Olds
The two year old funding is not universal and only eligible children may access this funding via an application process. You can check your eligibility by logging in to the Essex education portal. https://educationportal.essex.gov.uk/CitizenPortal/en
If eligible, you will be issued with a Unique Ref number which you will need to provide us with. Please contact the pre-school if you require assistance with the application.
Once eligibility is confirmed, a parent/carer declaration must be completed to claim the funding, which will be provided by the pre-school. All funding applications must be supported by the child's birth certificate.

Fees
A.M. sessions 8:25am - 11:25am - £15.00 per session (3 hours)
P.M. sessions 12:15pm - 15:15pm - £15.00 per session (3 hours)
Fees are payable on a weekly or termly basis in advance, Cash payment or BACS payment accepted.

Fees continue to be payable if a child is absent, in cases of prolonged absence, parents should consult the pre-school about fee payment. The pre-school reserves the right to exclude children if fees continually fall into arrears.
You are required to provide us with at least one month’s notice of withdrawing your child. If insufficient notice is given you will be responsible for the full fees for your child for one month from the date of notice.
